Chemical properties:

Orange-red powder, slightly soluble in cold water, brown-yellow in hot water, and yellow-olive brown in ethanol.

Applications:

Mainly used for dyeing wool tops, wool yarns, and blankets. It can also be used for dyeing silk and nylon. The post-mortem method is preferred. Woolen fabrics pretreated with chromium acetate can be directly printed with this product. This product can also be used for dyeing leather and as a pigment.
